. It was never used.  An incredible rarity.
I've opened the packaging just to inspect the camera and to take the pictures. I also fired the shutter 3 times at 3 different speeds and surprisingly, the speeds seemed to be accurate, although further tests would be required. This camera seems to be working just like when it was new 50 years ago
Because of the better Yashinon lenses and the black lock wheel at the bottom, I'm guessing this camera to be from 1974, the last year Yashica produce this particular model.
If what you are looking for is a medium format film camera to take pictures, you better look for an used one, this camera is for serious collectors; someone who knows what he/she wants and probably already own several TLR cameras.
