    RARE, Eye-grabbing, original 11" x 14" title card for the 1939 Charlie Chan crime thriller, CHARLIE CHAN IN RENO, starring Sidney Toler as Chan, Ricardo Cortez, Phyllis Brooks Kane Richmond and Sen Yung.
    Atmospheric card features a superb, shadowy image of a tuxedo-clad Toler. An outstanding title card for any Chan or screen detective collection.   Excellent condition with just the expected age spots on border you want to see in a vintage movie piece like this.   Other than that exceptional condition with no tears or pinholes.

    Although the role of Charlie Chan had been done for many years by Warner Oland, after his untimely death the mantle was assumed by Sidney Toler. This was Toler's second appearance as Earl Derr Biggers' Hawaiian sleuth and in this outing, he ventures to Reno, Nevada to help a friend who has been accused of murder. It's a tangled web of divorce and murder in this Charlie Chan classic, with Sidney Toler making his second appearance as the famous detective. Based on the Philip Wylie story, Death Makes a Decree, this is one of the most well-regarded entries in the popular series. A first time offer from Heritage, this suspense-inducing title card is a fantastic find.  This title card is extremely clean.
