Dynaco PAS 2 Preamp Near Mint and Serviced
This is an good example of a very popular preamp. It is unique having different selections for stereo separation and good tube sound quality. It has been serviced by a technician since I want to ensure everything I sell is in good working order. The main capacitors have been replaced as well as the selenium rectifier changed out for a diode. When a selenium rectifier fails it can do a lot of damage due to changes in the bias supply, etc.
The two preamp tubes are both labeled Made in Gr. Britian and have the same construction. One is labeled Fisher and the other GE. The other two tubes are Sylvania Green and Zenith (with exact same construction as the Sylvania Green).
The pictures show the cosmetics; and it is very nice. The knobs are about as good as they get for this age and type of unit. This overall is a very good unit and should make a fine listening piece to a system. If you are looking for a PAS 2 preamp that is fully serviced, works well, and is near mint cosmetic condition,
this could be the one for you.
Like all used equipment I sell, I have described this unit accurately and show unit properly in pictures. Due to potential buyer issues, they are being sold as-is and returns are not accepted.
