Dynaco PAS-3X Tube Preamp

Description

Vintage Dynaco PAS-3X tube preamp rebuilt with upgraded parts but maintains original audio circuit design. No mods except Erhard power supply board replaces selenium rectifier and multi-cap filter can (multi-cap still attached to chassis but disconnected). PC-5 line stage & PC-6 RIAA phono circuit boards stuffed with high-quality caps & metal film resistors. Front panel caps & resistors replaced but original pots remain. Main RCA line-level I/O jacks replaced with quality gold jacks (see photo). Pilot light replaced with LED. Main line-level audio wires replaced with shielded cable. Rear AC outlets have been disconnected for safety. Chassis in good condition with some cosmetic flaws (see photos). Includes a copy of the original assembly manual. I don’t have a turntable so I can’t comment on phono input sound quality but line-level is quiet, clean, warm, detailed sound from a classic vintage tube preamp.
