DYNACO Pat-4 Preamplifier: In Good Condition

DYNACO Pat- 4 Preamplifier: Working In Good Condition!
This unit has been serviced (pots cleaned), tested with a tuner & CD player
plugged
into the spare Input) and both sound great.
However,
based
on
previous
owner the "phono (turntable) input
selection
doesn't
seem to be working". I do not have a turntable to test with. But for
someone who knows about the workings of these units (recommended) it should be an easy fix.
I
remember
someone a while back having the same type of problem with an old Marantz
amplifier, he fixed
the problem by just replacing 1 or 2 small capacitors he ordered from ebay (cost a couple of bucks). It may just simple need some adjusting.
However,
if you don't have a turntable and don't plan on getting one,
the phono
input not working
shouldn't
be a problem.
The lettering on the medal face plate has a few letters that have faded away but along with the metal case cover there are no dents/ding or scratches of any
significance
. At a cost of a few bucks, with a 1/8in (3mm) letter size "Stencils Set" you can reprint the faded letters. Sense the face plate is
otherwise
in excellent condition, and hard to come by in that good of condition, it might be worth the effort to some. At the bottom, this unit has all 4 rubber feet. Keep in mind that a lot of these units are sold with their rubber feet missing!
Overall,
this unit is in good condition. I have given you my best assessment on the condition of this unit. If there are any problems, I will gladly work with you to solve them. Shipping Insurance is included
