    Mithril Miniatures
    is officially licensed since 1988 to manufacture metal collectible miniatures from Tolkien's books
    The Hobbit
    and
    The Lord of the Rings
    books.
    This miniature was released in
    1988
    and no longer produced. The figure of the Orc is separate to the Wolf. There is also a duplicate Orc included. The scale is 32mm (classic).
    Smaller Orcs used the larger and smarter wolves as mounts to patrol or move around in a battle. The horn was used to signal messages to the other allied troops to either advance, retreat or alert to a threat.
    This will ship in a modern blister pack from Mithril. This was an early casting produced by the tool maker at Mithril Miniatures and kept hidden all these years until this month. The metal is an alloy that contains tin and lead.
    The figure is not primed.
    The base has the product code, name of the manufacturer and date.
