is officially licensed since 1988 to manufacture metal collectible miniatures from Tolkien's books
The Hobbit
and
The Lord of the Rings
books.
These miniatures were released in
1988
and no longer produced. These figures are on a sprue. One of them has detached. The scale is 32mm (classic).
"For it was in the one thousand six hundred and first year of the Third Age that the Fallohide brothers, Marcho and Blanco, set out from Bree; and having obtained permission from the high king at Fornost, they crossed the brown river Baranduin with a great following of Hobbits."

This will ship in a modern blister pack from Mithril. This was an early casting produced by the tool maker at Mithril Miniatures and kept hidden all these years until this month. The metal is an alloy that contains tin and lead.
These figures are not primed.
The base has the product code, name of the manufacturer and date.
PAM refers to Prince August Miniatures and was dropped in later years in favour of the name of the sculptor.
