    great shape vintage preamp, tested and working fine, no hum, face plate is good looking, chassis is clean, fair looking wood cabinet. all original inside so go ahead and update as you wish. and yes it does have some volume control noise as they all get, have had this 30 years and never went inside to clean pot.
