  • Condition: This original Window Card exhibits an fine main image that has held up well and will make an overall strong display. The flaws that exist are generally along the Window Card's borders. The one flaw into the image is a 3" tear that runs from the border into the image of Joan Crawford. This tear is not unusually obtrusive. There is paper missing along the right side border along the outer edge, but no more than 1/4" inwards. Also on the right border are some small tears and a chip about 2/3 of the way up. On the top border there us a 1" tear near the left corner and there is minor paper loss around this same area. There are 3 tears (1/2" each) along the left side border. On the bottom left corner there is a small bend and there is wear along the bottom border. There is 1" of paper missing at the bottom right corner. And on the bottom border there is tape on the reverse for stability. That all said, the main image is quite fine. Please review the photos carefully.

    .  It was used by
    MGM
    to promote this movie when it was released in 1930.  It is not a reprint nor a reproduction.  The movie stars
    Joan Crawford
    , Johnny Mack Brown, Dorothy Sebastian, Benny Rubin, Cliff Edwards, and Ricardo Cortez.  It was directed by Malcolm St. Clair.
    This unrestored Window Card comes Flat, and measures 14" x 22".
    This original Window Card is graded C6, Fine.
    Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), etc.  The main image of this window card is in much better condition than it's borders.  This worn Window Card still delivers a strong main image with generally unfettered images.  The 3" tear that goes into Joan Crawford's image is not a visibly obtrusive tear, and the paper remains at that tear.  This Window Card has significant issues along its borders that normally would lead one to conclude that the value or beauty of the Window Card is proportionately decreased.  We believe differently and to some extent see the tears, missing paper, tape as markers of its long history.  Yes, we may be trying to "weave" a good story, but truly we feel that once properly framed,
    MONTANA MOON
    will make a striking display.  The details and images in the main area are still in tact, and the picture of a very young
    Joan Crawford
    cannot be topped.
