Altec 9475A Printed Circuit Board
Custom Made PCB for Building a New Altec 9475A Preamp
Designed for using Lundahl input and output transformers. Comes with component parts list. Mouser part numbers may have changed but the component part numbers relating to the printed circuit board and values are correct.
This is the same exact circuit as an original Altec 9475A preamp. Obsolete original components such as transistors have been upgraded to correct equivalents. Original Altec 9475A preamps used input and output transformers manufactured by RoboCoil which are obsolete. This new printed circuit board is designed to use replacement equivalent transformers from Lundahl. When built, this preamp sounds every bit as good as an original 9475A.
I have built many of these
using this printed circuit board and I can tell you it is easy to build yourself a new 9475A preamp for much less than the price of an original 9475A. I own an Altec 250 T3 console (specifically designed to use the 9475A mic/line preamp)  and there is no difference in sound between an original 9475A and a new 9475A using this PCB.  The last pic is a smaller version of the PCB being sold. Designed to replace the PCB in an original 9475A. As you can see from the pic, the circuit is exactly the same as an original but with upgraded components. The smaller PCB is not for sale in this auction and is for demo purposes only.
