ONLY ONE SPEC-1 IS FOR SALE. RACK MOUNTED FOR TEST AND STAGE PURPOSES.    NO OTHER DECKS WILL BE SOLD ALONG WITH IT.
THIS IS NOT STAGED FOR A LONGER DOLLAR UNIT WITH A JUMPER CABLES THROWN BEHIND LIKE THERE IS SOMETHING REAL GOOD IS GOING TO HAPPEN TO IT. IT'S A REAL THING BEING SERVICED PICTURES.
Pioneer SPEC-1 preamplifier.
Condition - fully recapped, stripped down and polished/cleaned,
working with every input and every output, speaker A&B settings high and low filter settings when tone switch is on, tone adjustments using four dials, stereo settings for norm or rev along with all mono settings, attenuator settings and all tape 1&2 and other input clicks are working
.
Recapped - includes all caps with the same or higher value using Nichicon audio grade caps, low leak caps replaced with audio grade low leek Nichicon brand caps. Low leak caps are orange in color. New LED bulb for ON indicator light.
Cleaned - every dial and every toggle switch cleaned with deoxit to free up sticky movements. Front silver face removed, washed, polished. All potentiometers and all transistors checked so there is no scratchy and a loud pop sounds.
Front silver face has some light scratches which came out after cleaning but you have to look for them to find.
Sound is super crisp and clear. Compare with the bottom SPEC-1 which is not recapped this one sounds much much better.
